About Tales from Inn Between:
A magical realist multimedia storytelling world, “Tales From Inn Between” began a decade ago as a novel, which, ever-expanding and left unfinished, has since evolved into an unfinished play script, an unperformed immersive theatre project, and its current iteration, as a series of short film scenes featuring characters from the various worlds of the Inn- a liminal no-space frozen in time, where ghosts and memories linger; a perpetual feedback loop.

End of the Road, 8:24, 2019, London
An abstracted narrative exploring friendship, illness, fear, and attachment, “End of the Road” uses fluid visual imagery to express personal growth, the death of relationships, and how we keep time: in sickness and health, in waiting and moving, speaking and remaining silent, in reading and being seen. The piece uses postcards, tarot cards, clocks, and other visual cues to help tell the story, as well as poetry and often unreadable text- the words themselves becoming abstracted and devalued, letters and fragments of imagined conversation drifting apart like dreams, reflecting the fissures in a failed relationship. The piece features two gender-fluid actors playing the characters “Noah” and “Max”, and a repeated, fragmented soundtrack of “I Get
Along Without You Very Well” by Chet Baker.
