I am both proud and humbled to share that I will be presenting at the 5th Annual ucLADINO Judeo-Spanish Symposium: Networks, Relationships, and Zones of Contact at UCLA this March. My focus this time will be moving away from Kristeva and the duende and towards the Jewish roots of flamenco. Olé! Maybe now I will finally get myself al clase del baile flamenco....

This is not the type of news and events that I am looking forward to. I am a very traditional person, in fact, I do not really like the idea of using the internet that much. If you ask me, it is better to get news and information from traditional means. Well, I am not really telling people to quit the internet, I am just saying my personal preferences.
